The Caricature Process |
First I take a careful pencil sketch of the subjects faces .... at this stage the shading is heavier on the faces than it will be in the final caricature . . . | Then I work on the bodies and posture, including background and accessories if any . . . | |||||||||||||||

Both the black and white proof and the colour proof will be emailed to you for approval (or regular mail if necessary) You may make changes at either stage. The whole process can take me up to 10 hours, not including matting and packaging. These are not 'quick sketch' exaggerated caricatures, but a more naturalistic approach, to catch the likeness and internal character of the subject. I work alone, and therefore can only work on one caricature at a time! I do not take on more than 10 caricatures per month. At times I have to work in date order to make sure all orders are fulfilled ... so please be patient if your wedding is not immediate. By taking advantage of ordering early you are ensured of a place in my design list. I can provide references if you require them. |
